Job Description The Character Rigger is responsible for designing, creating, testing and maintaining character rigs/setups; developing and maintaining character motion and deformation systems; and developing new techniques and processes to solve character production challenges.
Work Location Gainesville, Florida, USA
Required characteristics (/skills and abilities etc) Experience rigging characters in Maya for feature film or games
Experience creating rigs in Motionbuilder
Ability to write pipeline tools to streamline setup process
Extensive experience in MEL, python, or other programming languages
High proficiency in technical problem solving
Demo reel on CD, DVD, or online (preferred) showing rigging and technical proficiency
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to give and take criticism with a positive attitude
